Student Employment

The student employment experience at Paul Smith’s College should be positive for everybody – both student and employer. Student jobs should enhance, not interfere, with your primary purpose for being here – your education. It’s a great way to get involved on campus, add to your resume and earn some money in the process.

These are real jobs, and you’ll be expected to perform as a professional. Student jobs are available to all students, whether you are eligible for financial aid or not. Finding a campus student job requires that you apply for an available position. Although we will assist you in doing that, we cannot guarantee you a job. To apply for a position, contact the supervisor listed on the online job description. You may be required to submit a resume and pass an entry interview.

If you need help with your resume, contact the Center for Academic Success, located in the Joan Weill Adirondack Library, Room 206.

Paul Smith’s College is required to comply with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act). In accordance with the Clery Act, the college publishes annually a campus security report. We are required to advise applicants for employment of this report’s availability and provide a copy upon request. Applicants may obtain a copy of this report from the Office of Human Resources. Paul Smith’s College values diversity in the college community and seeks to assure equal opportunity through its continuing Affirmative Action Program EOE/AA/M/F/D/V 32
